Silicone molds, urethane casting, RTV moulds are low volume production methods that make it possible to produce plastic parts for applications in the field of polyurethane RapidPrototyping. The properties of the materials with which these parts are produced are similar to plastics used in production. You can make these parts as parts just outputs from final mold with similar aesthetics, the definition and properties of the material. Silicone moulds are ideal as samples for marketing purposes, for testing or other cases where they are needed from 1 to 100 pieces and the time and cost do not allow the creation of a pilot mould for injection.
