ALS The Stereolithography (SLA) is a system with laser technology that produces plastic parts ideal for concept models, master patterns and tradeshow models. Stereolithography (SLA) is sometimes considered a pioneer in the field of technology RapidPrototyping: the first commercial system was introduced by 3D systems in 1988. The system is an ultraviolet laser class, a VAT of photosensitive liquid resin and a control system. A platform is immersed in resin (through a system called lift) so that the surface of the platform is below the surface of the resin of a height equal to the thickness of a layer. The laser beam then trace the outlines and fills the section of the model along the x-axis that along the y-axis, solidifying the resin tap. After completing a layer, the platform is lowered to a height equal to the thickness of the layer, the resin is distributed on the previous layer and constructs the next layer. The process continues until the model is complete. Once the model is completed, the platform rises above the level of the resin and the excess resin is made to drain. The model is then removed from the platform, washed and placed in an oven for a final post-treatment. Finally the model from stereo lithography is finished smoothing the "stair stepping" typical of the process.
