3D printing is a productive process that builds a solid object in three dimensional layers, starting with a digital model. 3D-Printing can produce pieces with geometric features that can not be produced by other production processes.
ExOne builds functional 3D objects from the bottom, one layer at a time with robust industrial materials. ExOne's 3D printing system binds selectively, thin layers of fine dust. When the print head passes over the dust bed, the binder is deposited on the dust. The bed of dust is lowered and is covered by another layer of fine powder. With each subsequent step of the print head, each powder granule is bound until the shape of the object is completed.
